How to get there

Direct flights to Las Américas International Airport (SDQ), about 30 minutes from downtown. From there, taxis, Uber, or public transportation (Metro and express routes) can take you to the Colonial Zone in minutes.

Car rental

All major rental agencies operate at SDQ airport. For getting around the city, it’s best to rent a car only for excursions to Boca Chica or the coast; the downtown area is easier to explore on foot or by taxi.
