Salto de Jimenoa

Salto de Jimenoa is one of the most iconic waterfalls of Jarabacoa, in La Vega: the Jimenoa River plunges about 20 metres into a cold, crystal-clear pool surrounded by tropical vegetation. It is reached by a signposted 15-20 minute trail from the car park and there is a second fall, Jimenoa Dos. Bring swimwear, non-slip footwear and cash for the entrance; in the rainy season the flow is stronger.
