Salto del Limón

Salto del Limón is a waterfall of about 50 meters that drops into a natural pool surrounded by lush vegetation, in the mountains of Samaná. Access is on foot (40-50 minutes), by mule or by 4x4 vehicle, and it is a good idea to bring swimwear, river sandals and insect repellent. From April to November, the rainy season, the flow is spectacular; in the dry season you can swim in the pool.
