Playa Rincón

Playa Rincón, on the north coast of the Samaná peninsula, is one of the most pristine and spectacular beaches in the country: several kilometres of fine white sand, coconut palms and turquoise water, with the Caño Frío river waterfall dropping right by the sea. It is reached by car along a dirt road or by boat from Las Galeras, and there are hardly any services, so bring water, food and an umbrella.
