Cola de Pato

Cola de Pato is a waterfall of about 8 meters with pools of crystal-clear turquoise water in the mountains of Jamao al Norte (Espaillat), one of the last unspoiled ecotourism areas of the Dominican north. It is very popular for canyoning: you rappel down the waterfall, jump into the pools and navigate the river rapids. A local guide and gear are required; the best season is outside the rainy months.
