Cayo Levantado

Cayo Levantado, known as Isla Bacardí, is a small white-sand island with turquoise waters less than 10 minutes by boat from the Samaná pier. Its dreamlike beaches, palm trees and paradisiacal setting make it the classic excursion of the bay, with a buffet lunch included on most tours. The star experience combines the island with the marine mammal sanctuary: from January to March humpback whales are watched in their natural habitat.
