Altos de Chavón

Altos de Chavón is a replica of a 16th-century Mediterranean village built on a cliff over the Río Chavón, inside Casa de Campo. It features a 5.000-seat amphitheater that has hosted artists such as Frank Sinatra or Sting, an archaeological museum with Taíno pieces and streets lined with workshops of local artists. With its church of San Estanislao and the river viewpoint, it is the most photographed spot in La Romana.
