How to get there

Higüey is 10 minutes by car from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). Higüey downtown, Bávaro resorts, and Cap Cana are connected via the autopista del Coral.

Car rental

PUJ airport has offices of all major rental agencies. A car lets you visit the Basilica, Cap Cana, and Bávaro beaches freely; distances between points are 20–40 minutes.
